Darealdirtydonkey says:

Thank you for this video I work on gas ovens all the time at work never
dealt with electric, I lost a wore tho and had to pull the back off to push
it back thru, if any one else does make sure you have disconnected power
because that is right near the main terminal block. Thanks again

UndyingFiiire says:

i hopw this works, a small fire started in my oven and it burned out

PartSelect says:

What’s the model number of your range? I’ll take a closer look into your
question and the model number is handy to helping diagnose the problem.

PartSelect says:

That’s awesome news your brother was able to help locate the wire. Glad the
oven is working again and all the best in your future repairs.

Emilianna Garcia says:

ok so im not sure what i did to my range it is just like the on you are
fixing in this video but im not sure if i broke the element because nothing
works on the range top or bottom and the clock went out as well and when i
called a repair guy he said 245 to fix it and i really dont have that kind
of money

dustypork says:

So my bake element caught fire and broke. Was still sparking after I turned
the oven off and only stopped when I unplugged it. Bought the part and
replaced it, easy job, but now nothing works. The lights come on saying the
stovetop is hot, but it’s not. The bake unit isn’t working, the clock only
appears when the oven is on, cannot turn on oven without turning on
stovetop. Any solutions or do I have a bigger problem?

Kimberly Pierce says:

My brother was able to help and my oven is now working fine, he finally
took the back panel off and was able to get the wires where they needed to
be that way. Thanks Bro!!

PartSelect says:

@dustypork I do have a couple of follow up questions. On the clock display
are there any error codes like F2, F5 etc? This will help narrow down the
problem and get your oven working again.

Kimberly Pierce says:

After I watched the video on replacing my heating element I unscrewed the
old one and before I could grab it one of the wires came off is now beyond
my reach and the pliers aren’t helping, what tool would you suggest on
retrieving?

PartSelect says:

Thank you for the repair tip. All the best in your future repairs!
